Escape to Malaysia

Years pass and blur together, more so for some than others... For Charlène and me, 2012 would certainly mark a turning point in our lives, both professionally and personally. It's been nearly a year since we moved back to China, a year in which much has happened, and yet not quite enough. With the novelty of China wearing off, we knew what to expect upon returning and were aware that we'd need to put travel on hold for a while, prioritizing our new job instead.
A fascinating and consuming job at that, which forced us to put this blog on pause for many weeks due to lack of time... Still, there's no shortage of topics, and we're hopeful about relaunching things at the start of this year, motivated by the relative success of our recent posts. A travel story is indeed scheduled—it will detail our little Malaysia getaway last October.
We hope you won't mind us exploring other Asian countries :) As an appetizer, we wanted to share this small video montage we put together with our modest means and the few videos we managed to shoot on location. It's not quite Vizeo, but our hearts were in it!
Hoping you'll enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it... As for us, all that's left is to wish you an excellent year 2013, filled with travels, adventures and discoveries ;-) See you soon on the blog.
